Alkire Joins Upper Hand Promotions As Regional Recruiting Director

 
 
Matt Alkire, one of the most respected voices on the high school recruiting circuit, has joined Upper Hand Promotions as a regional recruiting director. Alkire spent five years as the Northeast Recruiting Analysis for Fox Sports. He was chief editor of SyracuseFan.com, a Fox affiliate, for two years. He founded Scouts Notebook, an acclaimed NFL draft site ranked as the 4th most-accurate talent evaluation gauge on the internet.

Alkire will continue on in his current role as college director of media relations for The Maxwell Football Club, one of the oldest and most respected gridiron organizations in the United States. He also sits on the Maxwell's High School Committee representing the state of Pennsylvania.


Alkire has appeared as an expert on ESPN Radio and Philadelphia's Sports Radio 94WIP610. His written stylings have graced the pages of The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The Newark Star-Ledger, The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Daily News, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Chicago Tribune. Alkire also served as front-page publisher for football camp system JuniorRank Sports and was a regular on XOFan.com

Strong Sided Support Services (SSSS) is a philanthropic venture Alkire launched five years ago to help get high school prospects into colleges and preparatory schools.
