Alkire to Lead Upper Hand Football Division

Upper Hand Promotions has promoted Matt Alkire from Regional Recruiting Director, to National Director of Football Operations.  In his new role, Alkire will assume responsibility for managing all Football Operations, including athlete selection and promotion, partnership development and college coaching staff relations.  Alkire joined the Upper Hand team in October of 2012 and has been instrumental in the growth and development of Upper Hand's football division.  Alkire's move to his new role coincides with Upper Hand's plan to create specific individual channels and programs for each sport.  This plan is designed to insure athletes and coaches of each sport have the most effective and sport specific program available, to navigate through the recruiting process!

Alkire is a well respected in the high school recruiting industry.  He spent five years as the NE Recruiting Analyst for Fox Sports, two years as Chief Editor of SyracuseFan.com and founded Scouts Notebook, an acclaimed NFL Draft website. Five years ago Alkire launched Strong Sided Support Services, a program helping high school athletes find opportunities at the next level.  He originally made the move to partner with Upper Hand, to be able to assist his athletes on a larger scale.

The Upper Hand Team is excited to see the program development and growth of Upper Hand Football, under the direction of Matt Alkire!
